As part of Agrocaribe's training program, 800 field, plant workers and administration staff were trained on different company policies for the benefit of its employees.
Special emphasis was made in the workshops on the following policies: conflict of interests, hiring, indemnity, internal promotion, vacations, HIV/AIDS, environmental, social, sexual harassment, industrial safety, occupational health, equity, labor and internal communication.
Objectives
The objective of these policies is to benefit the workers and define standards to regulate acts in the different situations that come up in the company, in order to have all of them work within the same guidelines to achieve the company's objectives. With training, we sought not only to announce the content of the policies and their implementation, but also to listen to the employees and solve their concerns.
